Living large on a flat broke budget
One mans trash is another mans treasure. Got a bunch of old stuff you want to get rid of? Don't throw it away. Have a yard sale! You can sell almost anything, someone will buy that old broken down sofa. It might be worthless to you but it may be valuable to someone else. Round up all your old clothes, appliances, furniture, & toys. Then you can put the proceeds on those brand new platform mary jane slingback Loubous with a cresent toe!
Have valuable items? Sell them on eBay, craigslist, or the classified section of your local newspaper.
What do you want for christmas, birthday, ect? Don't beat around the bush tell them what you want. There asking your opinion why answer "I dont know" you know what you want, tell them!!! It's not being rude, it's rude when you "secretly" return/exchange that furry green sweater that resembled The Grinch that Stole X-mas. Not to mention now you wasted time & gas to return the damn thing. One year my dad asked me what I wanted, I told him a Kitchen Aid. Guess what I got? A KITCHEN AID!
Speak up don't beat around the bush! My dad had a pcs to Japan, he didnt want to take all his furniture with him. He offered it to my 2 brothers & me. While my brothers were beating around the bush, I just said yes I will take it!!! Little did I know, it was 20k worth of brand new furniture. We also got 2 60 inch TVs in the deal. I will post pics once we have it all moved into our new house.
Got change? Save it! Put it in a jar & once the jar is full you can make an extra debt payment. We were saving for a fabulous ski vacation next year. But the kids decided they wanted to save up for a dog instead.
Give to charity A charitable donation doesn't always mean money. Donate you old cell phones, computers, glasses. Donations to charity are tax deductable. These donations can reduce your taxable income & lower your tax bill

Frugal for life~yep we live under 1000 a month
Before I even start my child does not sleep under a crib on a piss soaked mattress. I don't save used toilet paper wadded with shit, to forment for later use.
We took advantage of the dwindling economy, we managed to buy a house that was apraised for $100,000.00 for $39,999.00. It is a very cute 900sft. 3 bedroom, single family home on an established, & safe neighborhood. Instead of getting a full blown 30 mortgage we took out a 10. Id be out of my mind to take a 30 on a 39k loan. Considering that's the cost of a brand spanking new car these days. We drive a used truck that looks like it has been through hell & back, don't laugh its paid for ! We keep it in great running shape & I make sure to it's safe for the kids.
I do alot of things to cut the grocery bill. We buy everything in bulk & seperate all the meat, poultry, ect.. I divide everything into 6 servings & vacumn seal it into a bag. It takes me about 3 hours to seperate, bag, & throw it in the deep freezer. I also noticed since I have been bagging the meat into servings we have saved money & less waste.
We also buy canned goods by the bulk .I buy chips, candy, nuts, cookies in individual bags (It's always fresh & doesn't stale, less to be thrown out later). It works great, we even put pizza rolls, french fries,ect.. into individual serving sized bags with the food saver. When the kids get hungry & want to have a snack they just take out what they need.
My only draw back is I love to shop for clothes. So I only shop deep clearance, I also only shop name brand items. Why settle for for knock offs. Name brand items have great resale value!! I do use a washing machine, it's not the 1800s you know. Although I don't use the dryer (dryer costs too much to run). So I hang dry everything. When I go to resell everything is in excellent condition.

Our Ghost
We have a ghost in our house!
Where do I begin. A couple months ago Isabella snuck into DS' room. She was playing in the corner talking to someone, but she was alone. She was carrying a conversation all by herself. I thinking back she would always go to his room & play in that corner all by herself. Sometimes I would tell her to get out & she would just say "get out we are playing".
I finally decided to ask her who see was talking to. She just looked at me & says "dead". I asked her who was dead, she would just laugh & take off.
Saturday, I was in the living room when I see two huge teenagers hauling butt down the stairs. They were both white as a ghost. I asked where Dd was & the boys said talking to someone. I ran up the stairs & she was in that same corner talking. I asked her who she was talking to & she goes "dead"
I asked the boys what was going on. DS states that Dd went to his room & he says she just started carrying a conversation while staring at the wall. His friend asked her what she was doing & she states " I am talking to Tim" then the light turned off by it self. Ds says that he hates being in his room. Because It feels like he is being watched. T (ds friend) states that some nights the light turns off & on by itself.
I don't know what is going on & I dont want to dismiss what the boys are saying. DD thinks all this is hilarious & continues to talk to "someone".
The light that turns off & on by itself finally broke. Isabella some how broke the lamp into peices. I was up there a few nights ago to find that the shattered lamp was once again on! I need to take picutres so no one thinks im full of shit.

Watching the jobless benefits package conference
It's 9am & counting
I rolled out of bed this morning to the chorus of " MOMMY pancakes pancakes pancakes". So im standing in the kitchen & my daughter starts handing the stuff to make them. She throws me the eggs UGH!!! Of course one of them drops on the floor & like a robot. I am down on my knees scooping the crap with my bare hands. She acts like we starve her (we don't).
Already I am in a bad mood I still have to package & ship 12 packages before noon . I dabble on eBay once in a while. It's a great place to unload last years clothing. I can't really complain since sometimes I make more than what I payed for it. Other times it's 85 cents to the dollar. I will be back at noon est.
